I like this, has a certain bit of everything for me. Glass Animals and KoL have solid new music – they never seem to create something that is NOT good. I’m yet to see more of SilkSonic, I’m excited for that venture that’s for sure. Nothing beats soul/funk with Bruno – their first single has amassed a huge fanbase already.

There’s certainly a lot of great music out now. Even with 30 songs, it was a challenge to have to omit more songs I like.

I like the Weezer song All My Favorite Songs quite a bit and I actually knew the Foster the People one because my son has been playing it.
Jeff…just curious did you listen to alternative in the 80s? The book I’m reading now is about that touring circuit or scene…

Thanks Max. No, I didn’t listen to much alternative back in those days. In the 80s, I was still pretty much all about the ‘hits’ on the Top 40, which was still pretty diverse at that time.

I’m really beginning to like the alternative 80s a lot. I listened to some back then like the Replacements and REM but that was about it.
