  1. I heard that Milky Chance song a couple of days ago and was surprised about how well Jack Johnson and they fit together. It is always nice to hear international collaborations like these. ❤ Great playlist as always.

Like both debuts to the charts- a little Jack Johnson is always welcome. A- and A-. I appreciate the consistency of your chart- I am not a fan of how Billboard does things in recent days- songs #1 for 20 weeks and debuting at #1 etc- every track on an album being in the Hot 100.

    1. I certainly try, and have always believed that there should be consistency and rationality to music charts. Of course, every now and then a monster hit comes along that quickly zooms up the charts. But the Billboard Hot 100 has become a farce due to the emphasis they now place on streaming. I agree it’s stupid how every track from a popular new album by a big star like Beyonce, Drake, Justin Bieber, etc. lands on the chart the first week of the album’s release.

To me that ruins it all- you can’t compare yesterday to today as far as the charts. Makes a joke of it- but of course I am just a growing old codger and they don’t care what I think!
