    1. I don’t know about radio in El Paso, but here in the Coachella Valley, IT SUCKS – unless you want to hear old classic rock, Top 40, Country, oldies or Mexican. I’m tired of, or not interested in, hearing any of that, so must stream music I like instead. You’d think that given our famed Coachella Music Festival, we’d have at least decent Alternative Rock station, but the demographics here just don’t support it. Most people are either old (and want to hear oldies or classic rock), or young & Hispanic (who want to hear the mostly hip-hop/rap/pop stuff that now dominates the Hot 100, much of which I can’t stand).

Almost none of the songs that appear on my weekly lists do I ever hear on local radio, other than the few songs I do like from mainstream artists like Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Adele, Maroon 5, etc.

      1. It’s about the same in El Paso. I just listen to the old music and top 40. We hear a lot of music on YouTube or Pandora. I like all of the mainstream artists you mentioned.
