I listened to the top 10 this morning and for me # 3 and # 7 are my two favorites. For whatever reason, I connected with them the most. Not sure what that says about my muscial taste. Perhaps I just like upbeat and fun (?)

Thanks for checking out my list and commenting, Lisa! Yes, great songs. Bruno Mars and twenty one pilots can do no wrong in my book!

I have yet to hear Bruno Mars’ latest album. I take it you aren’t a Weeknd fan? I haven’t heard the new Kings of Leon song.

Oh no, I am a Weeknd fan, though I like his R&B songs better than his hip hop stuff. At the risk of sounding like an idiot, a big problem I have with a lot of Black hip-hop is their heavy use of the “N” word in their songs. A couple of times like in “Starboy” I can live with, but 20-30 times just puts me off. It’s a double standard that bothers me I guess. The Bruno Mars album is great, with lots of old-school funk & R&B. And Kings of Leon’s “Waste a Moment” is awesome.
